The Hall is available for hire – and has always been very popular for children’s birthday parties and other celebratory events.
We are also available to hire for clubs and other events such as wedding, christenings, baby showers and wakes. We are fully licenced and can provide a bar for adult events.

Hall facilities
Main Hall:
The light and airy main hall has a stage along with a newly installed digital projector and screen. The maximum capacity is 120 – see booking conditions for more information.

The hall benefits from central heating, dimmable lighting and there is ample parking outside.
Hire charges
From October 1 2024, charges will be:
Hourly weekday/evening rate for residents of Carbrooke: £10.00
Hourly weekday/evening rate for non-residents of Carbrooke: £12.00
Hourly weekday/evening rate for corporate customers: £15.00
Saturdays and Sundays: £12.00 per hour up until 5pm
From 5pm onwards on a Saturday evening the hire will be £80.00 flat rate
The deposit will remain £100
If a Bar is required then each member of the bar team will need to be paid the hourly minimum wage
Please no alcohol is to be brought and consumed on the premises
Projector and screen can be hired at an additional cost.
Anti-social opening hours available on request but will require an additional charge.

Capacity
The maximum number of people allowed in the hall as per the Entertainment Licence granted by Breckland Council and the Fire Safety Officer are:
For a dance without tables and chairs: £110
For a dance with tables and chairs: £60
Function with tables and chairs: £80
For seated audience: £100
